Government College, Pratap
Nagar is a co-educational multi-faculty Higher Education Institution
(HEI) established by Haryana State Government in 2020. It is situated at
Village Pratap Nagar in District Yamuna Nagar of Haryana State and affiliated
to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It was established to provide the
high-quality and value-based education to rural and
under-privileged students of and nearby areas of Pratap Nagar region at
a low and affordable cost. Initially, the college was started in a
make-shift arrangement building of Government Senior Secondary School, Pratap
Nagar. In the very first year of its inception, 55 students were admitted to
the undergraduate courses in the Art stream. Subsequently, in November 2024,
the college was shifted to make-shift arrangement building of First Floor of Govt.
ITI Pratap Nagar. Presently, the college is offering higher education in 02
Under-Graduate (UG) courses i.e. B.A. and B.Com. with student strength of 118 in the current
academic session 2025-26.
